“The Black Pearl” is an original acrylic on canvas painting of a friesian horse mare with red roses in her mane. With silver metallic paints merged in with the greys and whites of the background, it adds a modern abstract feel to the painting background which I felt created an interesting combination when combined with semi realism of the beautiful mare with her demure pose.
